| This is our first walk at the Alexandra
Hospital Butterfly Trail.
The walk started with a slide presentation showing the flowering plants,
host plants and butterflies that can be found at the hospital compound.
We then went down to the Butterfly Trail where we saw many Plain Tigers
gliding gracefully, the Emigrants zigzagging from flower to flower and
the Leopards circling the Weeping Willow tree looking for young
leaves to lay their eggs . Rosalind then showed the participants
the hospital's nursery, Zoo style open concept toilets and mini gardens
all around the hospital. The group then adjourned back to the auditorium
where light refreshments were served, compliments from Alexandra
Hospital.
