This is our 2nd
walk at BTNR this year but this time, we took the track that leads us
pass the Hindhede quarry. Gan and Simon served as the guides for
this trip. The weather was hot and humid and the whole walk lasted about
2 and a half hours.
All in all, we counted 31 species of butterflies and 5 moths. We
also spotted many caterpillars (most likely Common Mormon) on the
Indian Curry Leaf (Murraya koenigii) plant and caterpillars
feeding on Bird Nest fern.
More photos from the walk can be found at the
Butterfly Walk Photo Gallery.
