Hi All

Saturday 26th May was the BWR official walk at the above place. It was a glorious day.

Saw a wild Great Mormon female form distantianus for the very first time in Singapore. The only other time I saw it was in PJ home many years back when I was a boy of 12 years. Then there was the Odina hieroglyphica ortina ('Hieroglyphic' skipper) and the rare Grey Pansy and not so rare Peacock Pansy.
Followed by a Rapala domitia domitia ('Yellow Rapala') and a Common Birdwing (female). Also seen was an Abisara geza niya which I have not seen for a long time.

During the walk we bumped into an Oriental whip snake and I've got a picture to prove it (one member was holding the snake with the guidance of Subaraj). Also at the stream, we saw many Walking Catfish (id provided by Subaraj)......

You can see the some photos from this walk at the Butterfly Walk Photo Gallery.
